BREXIT on 23 June 2016 - Irregular Market Conditions - Traders to exercise caution

In preparation for the upcoming EU referendum in the UK on June 23, 2016, PFD increased margins for the instruments likely to be affected.

The referendum may generate irregular market conditions such as:
  • Extreme market volatility
  • Low liquidity
  • Rapid price movement
  • Pricing gaps
  • Wider spreads
  • Delayed Execution

Slippage, delayed execution, non-execution of orders, stop losses, close outs at out of market prices etc could occur as a result. It is essential that traders closely monitor their account and maintain sufficient margin to support their trading strategy during this irregular market conditions.

Traders who do not wish to assume significant risk should exercise caution in this period.

Kind regards,
PFD Management
