Trade Execution

PFD is a No Dealing Desk (NDD) & Straight Through Process (STP) broker. What does it mean?

No Dealing Desk (NDD).

NDD broker works directly with market liquidity providers with no manual intervention in execution process. PFD has no dealing desk which means customers' orders are executed directly in the liquidity providers' systems. PFD's in-house developed state of the art liquidity aggregator automatically chooses the best liquidity provider from the pool and executes trades at best price for its clients.

Straight Through Processing (STP).

STP brokers execute customers' request with appropriate liquidity providers. Key advantage of STP execution is ensuring win-win situation with no conflict of interest regardless of the financial results of customers' deals. PFD does not take risk against clients' trades and therefore welcomes all types of trading strategies. PFD has multiple liquidity connections. This ensures stable connection and deep liquidity. PFD has some of the most reputed liquidity providers which enable customers to get the highest level of successfully executed orders. PFD's systems are designed to meet all types of trader requirements - would a trader either hit market with few millions, it provides top of the book execution across all its liquidity providers or would a trader hit market with thousands of tiny orders, it carefully chooses best available price for every order.

What are disadvantages of STP execution?

STP execution price is always on market. Depending on market situation, it can improve the price or result in slippage if market moves. STP limits scope for developing strategies based on broker's latency or software errors. STP brokers' payment capability depends on the underlining liquidity of that broker.

What if something goes wrong?

PFD constantly monitors the system and the execution quality. Although the systems are robust and there are very few issues arising, PFD cannot detect all the possible problems that could happen with the thousands of orders executed every day. Although problems are picked up in the monitoring process, should traders become concerned of any unusual patterns or issues please contact PFD as soon as possible.
